This workshop is inspired by sculptural artist Jay Jermyn, one of the featured artists in Here and Now: Gold Coast Triennial.  

A key aspect of Jay’s art practice is his contemplation of our relationship with nature. Jay likes using materials with different textures to make his artworks, contrasting the natural and the manmade.

We will carefully select a range of natural and man-made materials to create an assemblage with contrasting surfaces.  Learn about composition, colour and texture.

Children must be accompanied by an adult or carer and cannot be left unsupervised at any time, thank you for your understanding.
