A free, year long program of weekly workshops where kids take the lead in developing ideas alongside professional artists to create new performances.

#Frankenstein: How to Make a Monster

In Battersea Art Centre's Frankenstein: How to Make a Monster, six talented performers from BAC Beatbox Academy interpret Mary Shelley's novel `Frankenstein' from their own perspective as young people growing up in 21st-century Britain, exploring how modern monsters are created in today's society.

In this on demand experience you will be able to explore the work through a short documentary and then delve into a pre-recorded beatboxing masterclass with some of the cast. Learning the fundamentals of beatboxing and how to create an entire musical soundtrack with only their mouths.
