Fashion Machine

A High-Energy, One-of-a-Kind Live Experience 

Step into Fashion Machine, where creativity meets chaos. This bold, interdisciplinary spectacle brings together 50 local children and five professional artists to create a live fashion transformation like no other. 

In this 5 day workshop, participants will learn the basics of sewing, design and how to create a runway show which will feature on the final day of Kids Take Over.  

Here’s the twist, the audience become part of the show. Selected participants volunteer their outfits to be completely reimagined cut, deconstructed, and reinvented by the children in under 60 minutes. While the transformation happens, participants are robed up and become the centre of an unforgettable creative experiment. 

IMPORTANT NOTE: For the performance installation, the children cut up and completely reinvent your clothes. What you wear to the event will not be the same as what you come home with. 

To be a participant you need to be between the ages of 9 and 13. You have an interest in sewing, theatre and photography and are available from the 19^th-26^th of September
