You Are A Doughnut

You Are A Doughnut

You Are A Doughnut

From the creators of The Alphabet of Awesome Science comes a brand-new multi-award winning family show…  You are a doughnut!

It’s true! YOU are a great big fleshy lump with a remarkable hole running all the way through your middle - your digestive system.

Join biology teachers Oesoph A. Gus and Dewey Dean as they embark upon an utterly brilliant allsinging, all-dancing (and all-clowning!) exploration of every twisting tube and remarkable organ — with sketches, songs, and sensational science. Along the way you’ll encounter a frenzy of enzymepowered ping pong balls, sing along with a rainbow collection of poop puppets, and witness the weirdest poetry performance you’ve ever seen.

“You Are a Doughnut” is a ‘riot of fun’ (The Clothesline) and a ‘sure winner for the whole family’ (Glam Adelaide) — presented by the ‘masters of educational entertainment’ (Play & Go). It’s a little bit gross — and a ‘hole’ lotta fun! (You might even learn something...).

Recommended ages 5-12.

That Science Gang

Awesome Science! Awesome fun!

At That Science Gang we create science-inspired theatre productions for young people and their families — and then take those shows on tour across Australia and the world.

We believe that science is art and that art is a science — and that each can inspire the other.

We work with scientists, science communicators and theatre makers to create unique, character driven "Science Theatre" that entertains as much as it educates.

Since 2002, our works have been performed for hundreds of thousands of young people (and their adults) across Australia. These have been produced in collaboration with and for a variety of clients, producers and festivals, including the Adelaide Festival Centre’s Something On Saturday program, SA Water, Country Arts SA, the RiAus, the Adelaide Football Club, National Science Week, the Adelaide Cabaret Festival, SALT Festival, Roola Boola Children’s Arts Festival, Whittlesea Community Festival, and the North Australian Festival of the Arts.

We can't wait to share many more awe-inspiring stories with our ever-growing audience.
