A Public Reading of Overboard

Overboard, written by Sally Bedford, with Hugh Parker, Jolene Anderson, Emily Burton and Sam Monaghan.

Overboard is a fast-paced satirical comedy set on a cruise ship, The Enterprize II. Although it’s a good laugh it masks the dark underbelly of the lives of four very ordinary people. There’s a lot at stake when it comes to class, parenting, loss, legacy, infidelity and one’s own demise. And there’s a very thin line between comedy and tragedy when everything’s hanging in the balance. By the time we get to the end it's about survival, regardless of the cost.
