Kids Take Over | SEASONS

Join us on an enchanting journey with Seasons - a free interactive forest installation crafted entirely from sustainable materials!

James was not the only one who went on an adventure with his giant peach! Unknown to him and his travelling companions, as the peach rolled down the hill to the ocean, a few of the magic seeds followed, rolling and tumbling stopping abruptly against the roots of a large, towering hoop pine. On impact, the seeds burst, and the magic tickled its way through wormholes in the large pine tree’s roots. But, instead of growing bigger, the tree did something very peculiar. From each root, hundreds of baby hoops, palms, ferns, towering flowers, and their inhabitants started growing, and growing and growing and soon formed a magical forest full of the most exquisite, coloured fauna and flora attracting both microscopic insects and creatures unlike which have been seen before.

All forests have a guardian, and this one is no different. The guardians spend their days looking after the seasons, keeping the forest healthy and keeping the balance between the inhabitants. It’s a big job! But often, they find themselves lonely and are full of hope that one special day a group of travellers will stumble upon the forest, enter a world of adventure, and exit an honorary guardian of the forest.
