Walk the red carpet and celebrate the opening of the Gold Coast Film Festival with the Australian Premiere of THE BALLAD OF WALLIS ISLAND, a fresh, big hearted comedy.

THE BALLAD OF WALLIS ISLAND follows Charles (Tim Key) , an eccentric lottery winner who lives on a remote island and dreams of getting his favourite musicians McGwyer Mortimer (Tom Basden and Carey Mulligan) back together.

THE BALLAD OF WALLIS ISLAND was Directed by James Griffiths and stars Carey Mulligan, Tim Key, Tom Basden, Sian Clifford and Akemnji Ndifornyen.
