International Museum Day 2024 at HOTA Gallery

We're excited to be a part of International Museum Day 2024! Museums help us connect to our past and to understand each other’s different stories. They play a vital role in preserving our histories and memories so that we can understand our world and learn to build a richer and sustainable future together.

To highlight this year’s themes of ‘Museums for Education and Research’, HOTA Gallery will be hosting a free open studio involving several options to make and create. Come along and join us for some fun, enriching and social activities!

Children must be accompanied by an adult or carer and cannot be left unsupervised at any time, thank you for your understanding.

HOTA proudly acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we are situated, the Kombumerri families of the Yugambeh Language Region. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging, and recognise their continuing connections to the lands, waters and their extended communities throughout South East Queensland.
