Gawrehma Jungun Soundscape

Gawrehma Jungun Soundscape

Presented as accompaniment to the CLOUD PLAY artwork, Gawrehma Jungun is an emotive and immersive first nations soundscape that explores the stories of clouds and sky. It seamlessly blends ancient Indigenous knowledge with an original music score and natural sound recordings by Lann Levinge, William Barton and Jose Carbo. This 30-minute audio piece combines storytelling in the Yugambeh language, and layered soundscapes, offering a profound and intimate experience.

We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging, and recognise their continuing connections to the lands, waters and their extended communities throughout South East Queensland.
