Spaceship Salvage

You’ve crash-landed on a strange planet…

Your ship is in pieces, your communication is down, and home is millions of lightyears away.

What now? You must build your own way back to Earth using only what’s around you!

In this hands-on activity, kids will take on the role of space engineers and use recycled materials to design and build their very own spaceship.

Using imagination, teamwork, and out-of-the-box thinking, they’ll explore eco-friendly artmaking to transform everyday scraps into launchpads for creativity!

HOTA proudly acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we are situated, the Kombumerri families of the Yugambeh Language Region. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging, and recognise their continuing connections to the lands, waters and their extended communities throughout South East Queensland.
