Casefile Presents: Criminal Conversations

Criminal Conversations

Multi award-winning global podcast phenomenon Casefile Presents and More Talent are thrilled to present a riveting new live show featuring two of Australia’s most respected True Crime authorities. Fact can be scarier than fiction, and you’ll be getting nothing but the most fascinating facts from Vikki Petraitis and Emily Webb when they bring their Criminal Conversations to the stage at Underground Festival this June.

Joining Vikki and Emily for this special event will be the award-winning and highly respected Queensland journalist Kate Kyriacou. Kate has been the Courier-Mail’s chief Crime and Courts Editor since 2012 and has won awards, both at a state and national level, for her work as a crime writer since she began reporting crime as a 21-year-old at a regional Victorian newspaper.

Well-known for their award-winning books and top-charting podcasts, Vikki, Emily and Kate will dive into the stories that have most stuck with them over their careers. The stories will be focussing on the South East Queensland area, but may cover stories and issues derived Australia-wide.

And with a chance for buyers who purchase tickets before Wed 29 May to ask your burning questions, Criminal Conversations is sure to bring a new level of obsession for die-hard true crime enthusiasts and newbies alike.

Tickets are expected to be snapped up quickly so grab yours while you can!

#Got a question?

With stories that keep audiences thinking long after they have finished, we know you have questions! Ticket purchasers will be given the opportunity to submit a question for Vikki, Emily and even the elusive Casefile host prior to the show. And while he is protecting his anonymity and not appearing in this show, he may just answer your question…

#About

Emily Webb has had dozens of true crime tales published in her books, is co-host of the smash hit Australian True Crime podcast (70m+ downloads) and presents her own solo podcast project, Killer Content. Vikki’s penned eighteen books and presented four Casefile Presents series, including Australian Podcast Award-nominated The Vanishing of Vivienne Cameron and the chart-dominating Frankston Murders, both of which went straight to number one in Australia and the UK.

The Casefile podcast was created in 2016 by an anonymous host with no experience. What began as an experiment has since collected numerous awards (including Apple Podcast’s ‘Best Of’ for five years running, and Spotify’s ‘Podcast of the Decade’), over six hundred million downloads worldwide, and spawned its own multiverse with the 2019 introduction of Casefile Presents for carefully selected hosts to share the stories they have researched with Casefile’s dedicated audience.
