Kids Take Over TV

Kids Take Over TV – Gold Coast is back with an exciting new season—this time, set entirely around the Kids Take Over Festival at HOTA this September!

We’re on the lookout for fun, confident kids aged 8–12 to become on-camera presenters, taking viewers behind the scenes of the festival’s biggest adventures. From creative workshops to space-themed performances and unexpected surprises, they’ll help uncover all the action happening across HOTA during the two-week-long celebration.

It’s fun, creative, professionally produced—and a chance for local kids to build confidence, gain experience, and be part of something truly out of this world.

This season, we’re going intergalactic, so buckle up and get ready to explore HOTA like never before!

HOTA proudly acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we are situated, the Kombumerri families of the Yugambeh Language Region. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging, and recognise their continuing connections to the lands, waters and their extended communities throughout South East Queensland.
