FLIGHT takes audience members through two worlds, two realities and two possible outcomes to their journey. The many worlds interpretation of Quantum Mechanics proposes all possible outcomes that could occur, are occurring in countless worlds of varying similarity. Find comfort in knowing that however ill-advised your choices have been - there is a version of you who made better ones and is suffering less regret and embarrassment.

About DARKFIELD:
DARKFIELD experiences utilise striking sets and shipping containers, binaural 360-degree sound, complete darkness and a variety of sensory effects, where each participant is situated at the centre of intense, evolving narratives.

FLIGHT is not ticketed by HOTA and Online Ticket Purchases will be taken to the Darkfield website.

FLIGHT will run frequently at various times from Thu 7 Sept - Sun 1 Oct. FLIGHT operates Wed to Sun and will be closed Mon-Tue.

Wed-Fri: 5pm-9.30pm Sat-Sun: 2pm-9.30pm

FLIGHT duration is around 20mins. Check in: 10 minutes before show time, so allow 30 mins for the experience.

Latecomers will not be admitted once doors close.

#What happens

During the show, the audience is seated, wearing headphones, in complete darkness. Rest assured, no one will touch you during the performance. Deprived of your vision, you're immersed in a theatrical experience that challenges your sense of reality as you rely on your other senses.

ACCESSIBILITY:

WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBILITY: Unfortunately due to safety reasons, FLIGHT cannot accommodate a wheelchair.

HEARING: The show is primarily audio based, in complete darkness (no visuals). It relies on hearing different audio in each ear, patrons with hearing impairment may not experience the full show.

#Warnings

FLIGHT is not suitable for those who are pregnant, under 13, or suffering from back or heart conditions.

These patrons will not be admitted. Ages 13 - 15 must be accompanied by a responsible adult ticket-holder. If you are claustrophobic, have PTSD, or could be triggered by flying or aviation themes, this may not be a suitable show for you.
