HOTA would like to invite choirs and diverse voices from all over the coast to come together in song to celebrate the evolution of the brand new Cultural Precinct.

This exciting collaboration will mark a significant milestone in the evolution of the Gold Coast Cultural Precinct; providing choirs and singers from all backgrounds a unique opportunity to rehearse contemporary vocal arrangements in a fun and informal environment. It is anticipated that the choir will be featured performers at several Gold Coast and Cultural Precinct events in the near future, including a performance as part of a high-profile event in April 2018.

Over the coming weeks we will be taking expressions of interest from choirs or individuals who would like to take part.

What next?

  1. No need to audition – anyone who is 16 or older can simply complete the online registration form. It is possible to register as a choir or as an individual. https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/C5FDHQH
  2. The required materials and rehearsal schedule will then be sent out for you to look over and begin rehearsing.
  3. Rehearsals will then be scheduled for all those taking part at HOTA. Rehearsals take place here every Monday evening at 6.30pm.

Please pass this on to anyone that may be keen to join in on the fun.  For more information or any questions about the project please get in contact with project producer Emma-June Curik via curik@hota.com.au or (07) 5588 4042.
