Little ArtLab – Playful Polaroids

Little ArtLab provides hands-on creative fun for kids aged 3-5 years to enjoy with their parents and carers. Little ones can experiment, play and create with art-based activities inspired by HOTA Gallery's current exhibitions.

Come to Little ArtLab dressed to impress, as the HOTA Studio transforms into a polaroid picture photobooth. Each Little ArtLabber will have the opportunity to strike a pose – props, accessories and grown-ups optional!  

We’ll visit Minna Gilligan: True Colours in the Children’s Gallery to see how the artist uses memorable childhood photographs to create works of art. Using our polaroid image, we’ll use layers of colour and collage to bring our self-portraits to life!

Children must be accompanied by an adult or carer and cannot be left unsupervised at any time.
