Artist Statement

Let the Boys Play is a visual journey that seeks to encapsulate the spirit, essence, and unabashed freedom of childhood - a journey filled with boundless imagination, unfiltered joy and the undying spirit of adventure.

This project is inspired by my childhood moments growing up in Nigeria, and aims to highlight the importance of creating a safe space where men of all ages can freely be themselves.

At its core, Let the Boys Play is not just for the 'boys'; it's a call to embrace authenticity, to see our old experiences with new eyes and to experience forgotten happiness with a single flick.
