Experience Gold Coast assumes a significant responsibility in growing the visitor economy of the city, with a clear objective of positioning the Gold Coast as the lifestyle capital of Australia. As a newly formed entity, Experience Gold Coast is focused on supercharging tourism, events, arts & culture, and education outcomes for the City of Gold Coast.   

Position Overview

As a Food and Beverage Attendant, you will be meeting and exceeding patrons and client’s expectation of the HOTA food and beverage experience.

HOTA is home to multiple dinning outlets such as the HOTA Café, Palette Restaurant, The Exhibitionist Bar and various functions and events throughout the precinct. 

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Impeccable personal presentation
  • Positive and pro-active attitude
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Strong a la carte experience
  • Experience running busy sections
  • Wine knowledge
  • Bar experience (preferable)
  • Barista experience (desirable)
  • Ability to use own initiative and work under pressure
  • Team player
  • Ability to perform all physical requirements of the position 
  • Ability to work shifts including late nights, weekends and public holidays

Experience, Qualifications and Essentials

  • Responsible Service of Alcohol
  • Food handling (desirable) 
  • 18+ years of age
