Gold Coast Jazz & Blues Club: Funky Miracle

Gold Coast Jazz & Blues Club: Funky Miracle

Join serial offenders-of-funk FUNKY MIRACLE as they break the chains and deliver a slick show featuring old school funk classics from the likes of the New Orleans band The Meters, Stevie Wonder, Sly and the Family Stone, Graham Central Station and Jon Cleary.

Starting in 1996 with the tightly bonded rhythm section of Steve Francis (Drums) and Dr Bob (Bass), this collective groove machine takes crowds on a never-ending journey through funk.

Vocal powerhouses Stacey Hoy and Ashleigh Denning are now taking this show to the next level of funk. They are joined by an amazing band featuring Steve Francis on drums, Dr Bob Harley on Bass, Neil Wickham on Sax, Wil Sargison on keys, Harvey Blues on guitar and Mal Wood on trumpet.

Their performance is done with style and high-class musicianship – don’t miss them.
