Synopsis

Gather your friends, pull up a picnic rug and join us on the lawns for SIPFEST (Shorts in Paradise) being held for the first time under the stars of HOTA’s Outdoor Stage.

SIPFEST is the Gold Coast’s premier short film festival competition, showcasing 15 of the best short film finalists from submissions around Australia and Internationally. The night culminates in the live announcement and presentation of the SIPFEST award categories and give audiences the opportunity to vote for their favourites on the night too.

Hosted by Gold Coast Film Festival Ambassador Lincoln Lewis along with live music, incredible short films, food trucks and bars, this is the ultimate outdoor film experience and best of all IT’S FREE!

This event is in Laid-Back picnic mode and a ticketed free event. All attendees must have a valid ticket to enter. Children under 3 years do not require a ticket.

This is a licensed all ages event, and some film content contains mature themes and coarse language, parental guidance is recommended.
