The Position
As a Food and Beverage Attendant you will join our award winning three Chef Hat’s Culinary Arts team at Palette.
Palette offers a unique blend of art and food on the Gold Coast. Palette is renowned for working with a high attention to detail and providing the finest food experience. Fresh ingredients sourced locally, where possible, and prepared by a dedicated team led by Executive Chef, Dayan Hartill-Law.
Palette is a 3 Hatted Restaurant, from the Australian Good Food Guide.
Palette was awarded Best Premium Dining at the Restaurant and Catering Awards 2022.
As Food and Beverage Attendant, you will be meeting and exceeding patrons and client’s expectation of food and beverage service. You will also be assisting with the setup, delivery and pack down of events/functions. You will provide the highest quality customer service to the patrons of HOTA.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Fine dining/Hatted experience (preferred)
- High-level of wine knowledge (desirable)
- High-level of classic cocktail knowledge (desirable)
- Ability to retain a high level of knowledge around ingredients, cooking techniques and providence of ingredients (desirable)
- Impeccable personal presentation
- Positive and pro-active attitude
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Prior food and beverage experience
- Food and beverage knowledge and a la carte experience an advantage
- Demonstrated practical experience in a restaurant or café
- Barista experience (desirable)
- Ability to use own initiative and work under pressure
- Team player
- Ability to perform all physical requirements of the position
- Ability to work shifts including late nights, weekends and public holidays
Qualifications
- Responsible Service of Alcohol
- Food handling desirable
