Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Culinary Arts Supervisor to lead and inspire our functions and events team.

In this role, you will oversee daily operations, ensuring that our customer service standards are consistently met. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, train, and motivate Culinary Arts Supervisors and Food & beverage Attendants. 
  • Manage the scheduling of Food and Beverage Attendants for all events.
  • Oversee all events delivered by Culinary Arts Supervisors across the HOTA Precinct.
  • Pre-plan for upcoming events, including arranging meetings with key stakeholders and preparing all required resources. 
  • Ensure all events are executed in line with our Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Supervise the setup and operations of HOTA Central and outdoor bars.
  • Complete daily reports and run sheets to ensure venue compliance.
  • Develop bar menus and activations to enhance events and boost culinary sales.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and sanitation of the kitchen areas in accordance with regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to supervise a team in a high-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent customer service and food/beverage knowledge.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and office administration.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work shifts on weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications:

  • Responsible Service of Alcohol certification.
  • Responsible Management of a Licensed Venue (RMLV) and Approved Manager’s license.
