Experience Gold Coast

On 1 September 2023, HOTA has joined Experience Gold Coast, a super entity which combined HOTA, Study Gold Coast, Destination Gold Coast, Placemakers* and Major Events Gold Coast in an exciting new chapter that will see the city’s tourism, events, education, arts and culture portfolios working as one organisation focused on delivering exceptional outcomes for the city. 

The Position

We’re looking for casual Kitchen Stewards to join our award-winning Culinary Arts team. Working closely with the Sous Chef and Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for ensuring the day-to-day requirements in keeping the kitchen clean, tidy and up with food safety standards and Queensland health standards of hygiene and cleanliness.

To be successful in this role, you will have exceptional organisational skills, be energetic, hardworking, and have a positive attitude. You’ll also have strong attention to detail, initiative and the ability to work in a team or independently.

Prior experience as a kitchen steward/ kitchen hand and a good understanding of food safety standards is required. Must be available to work shifts including nights, weekends and public holidays as required.
