Archie 100: Responding & Making School Workshops | Creatively Captured
In this workshop, students will consider the value and significance of portraiture. Students will look at what might qualify someone to be a valuable subject and explore the way creating a portrait can celebrate or signify their contribution/ impact, either personally, locally, nationally, or globally. Turning our attention to process, contemporary portraiture, stance and setting, students will plan for the creation of a portrait in 2D or 3D form, thinking critically about the choice of materials, colours and composition in their depiction of a chosen figure.
