Highlighting filmmakers of the future. The Emerge! Student Shorts Gala showcases the best short films from graduating film students from South East Queensland tertiary schools.
Award Categories Include: Best Student Short Film, Best Cinematography and Best Screenplay.
EMERGE! is produced in partnership with our sponsors at Friends of the Arts (FOTA) Foundation, and Blackmagic Design, who make this event possible.
Blackmagic Design has kindly donated a Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K for the winners of both the Best Student Short Film and Best Cinematography, and a $250 cash prize will be awarded to the winner of Best Screenplay, thanks to FOTA Foundation.
