The project

During ArtKeeper, Loki will create a large collection of poetry and other written work exploring 10 distinct themes, perspectives and characters.

Loki's songwriting process is informed by his writing practice. Through Selve, Loki has created a narrative universe that connects all of Selve's releases: Snake of Light, The Neon Parable of The Pink Hotel and Red Desert Dream. Through this residency, Loki will discover and explore the stories that will inform Selve's next album, as well as seek to publish the written works he creates. Loki will also explore new ways of delivering poems live in spontaneous sequences that will create different performances, like shuffling the songs in an album.
