Those Who Rock

Sun 3 July
 Those Who Rock

Hundreds of Guitarists. One Outdoor Stage.

Wet Weather Update

If it rains, the show will still go ahead (although the start time may need to be delayed).

Bring along your low-lying chairs, basic camping chairs and rugs to sit on, as well as umbrellas - or pop on your gumboots, don your poncho, and dance like the rockstar you are. Any event changes will be shared here or on the HOTA Facebook page.

Gates open and pre-show performances begin from 4.30pm - visit our FAQs to find out more about wet weather policies, and what you can bring along to the event.

HOTA and City of Gold Coast present one massive night of rock, on one of the Gold Coast’s most iconic stages.

200 everyday rockstars (that’s right – a literal band of 200 guitarists) will perform on HOTA’s Outdoor Stage alongside a stellar line up of Aussie rock icons including Sarah McLeod (The SuperJesus), Dave Gleeson (The Screaming Jets), The Good Band (feat. Members of Cheap Fakes, George and Wolfmother), and a slew of other special guests (think marching bands, flash mobs, choirs, special effects we’ve got it all!), hosted by special guest MC Myf Warhurst.

Featuring: DJ Black Amex, Benny D Williams, Lann Levinge & Candice Kruger, Alisha Todd, Gold Coast Marching Band & City Brass Band,  Yugambeh Choir, Gold Coast City Youth Choir, Clint Lovering - and plenty more surprises on the day.

Whether you’re bringing along someone for their first ever gig or throwing back memories of throwing back memories of your fave concerts in years past – this epic event is a celebration of live music, rock and roll, and the rebellious Gold Coast spirit.

Bring your picnic blanket, wear your favourite band t-shirt (or your favourite rock outfit) - to those about to rock, we salute you!
