About the Artist:

Lann Levinge
As a Kombumerri man with a passion for music and language development, Lann is deeply immersed in the heart of the Coast’s creative arts field. Lann is a man with many hats. An indigenous multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter, producer, director and creative designer. He seems to love the chaos and variety that his world offers. From recording and designing in his North Gold Coast studio to producing and designing large scale musical performances and audio visual presentations there is plenty to keep Lann occupied in between his 260 odd performance gigs per year. He’s instinctively a creative being, a musician, a vocalist and certainly most sort after. Lann’s transition over recent years moving deeper into first nations structures has reaped rewards for his community and gifted a more intimate connection to country to him. “I’m loving the journey and path that I’m on, discovering new ways to help and develop a new generation of language warriors, creating awareness of and connecting the Yugambeh Language to everyone through music, dance and visual art.” Lann seems to be popping up everywhere with works in design, soundscape development, documenting and recording language, creating visual installations and structuring new ways of presenting language based “welcome to country” through the combination of music, dance and video elements. Recent opportunities working on Country include 2018 Commonwealth games, Festival 2018, production co-ordination for Mobo festivals and Jarla events, GC Planning, HOTA Naidoc celebration 2019, Musical Direction for First nations Arts Ablaze 2019, member of the Gold Coast Music Action Group (MAG) 2020, Australian Music Examination Board AMEB song writer 2020.

Kiara Levinge
Whilst currently still at school and finishing a turmoil filled year 12 under incredibly difficult circumstances during 2020, Kiara has been achieving great things with certificates 3 and 4 in business already under her belt and continuing to develop her music based skills through study and performance with both Levinge Events and Yugambeh Youth Choir. Kiara’s performances include NRL all-stars and the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games 2018.

Biana Hayes
Bianca’s love and connection for music, movement and dance is clearly evident. Her performances are always giving, full of feeling and captivating. It’s almost a second language or perhaps it’s even her first language ahead of English. A multitalented artist, Bianca is also an exceptional vocalist currently performing as the lead role of Australia’s top “Taylor Swift tribute show” and the bubbly host of the very popular LOL Crew Children’s show and Ashy Bines Children’s show all of which are based on the Gold Coast. A dance choreographer and teacher extraordinaire since 2006, Bianca also owns and runs Bianca Hayes Dance Academy, a successful and expanding dance institute on the Gold Coast formed in 2014. She is certainly a gifted and talented lady. After having performed and hosted major shows at Movieworld, Dreamworld and Seaworld, Bianca has moved on to choreograph and perform in many of South East Queensland’s most successful acts including tributes for Sia, Katy Perry, Pink, Lady Gaga and Madonna. Bianca’s roles within Levinge Events included mentoring, teaching, choreography and creative performance in our welcome to country performances and as Dance Director for first nations Arts Ablaze 2019.

Tiana Graf
As a proud woman of the Nukunu people of South Australia, Tiana has developed into a multi-talented musician, performer and teacher within the arts industry. Since the age of two years old Tiana’s passion for dance and music has been reflected in her pathway leading to extensive training in sax, piano, ballet, contemporary dance, jazz, musical theatre, acrobatics and lyrical. With a love for teaching dance, Tiana quickly gravitated to dance instruction and has been teaching on the Gold Coast for 7 years whilst also working with some of the best at Movie World, Showtime Attractions, Bianca Hayes Dance Academy and Levinge Events.

Ray Levinge
Ray is a Kombumerri / Quandamooka elder and Gold Coast resident of 79 years where he has seen both vast and subtle changes to his country. During the Commonwealth games in 2018 on the Gold Coast, Ray was a key performer in the opening ceremony along with fellow uncles and grandchildren. A very proud moment for his family. Currently Ray sits as a board member for the Yugambeh Museum and helps create props and stage designs for Levinge Events shows. Ray is an experienced fisherman, mechanic / auto electrician and the son of legend Gilbert Levinge a Moreton Bay oysterman, whaler and distinguished Rat of Tobruk. Having very successfully negotiated the perils of small business on the Gold Coast where he ran RL Auto Electrical for 25 years in Southport, Ray and his wife Jan continue to live at Runaway Bay and enjoy being an integral part of their family of 3 children and 7 grand children’s lives.
