WONDER returns with some puppy love

For two weeks 29 Oct-7 Nov, it’s all about puppy love and outdoor art when WONDER returns.

WONDER is HOTA’s annual program of 10 days of art headlined by a major outdoor art installation with some special events taking place around the precinct.

In 2020 the work featured the incredible GAIA by Luke Jerram.

This year the featured installation is Lost Dogs Disco by Eness, the same company who create Airship Orchestra, currently at Brisbane Festival.

This is the world premiere of Lost Dogs Disco, and the design is inspired by the colours of the HOTA Gallery.

As well as Lost Dogs Disco, WONDER will feature Let’s Be Friends Furever –  real dogs, real stories, unreal theatre! Besotted owners and their beloved pooches will take to the stage sharing stories if love, loyalty and laughter.

Plus for those looking for a hit of nostalgia, Neon Remix will take you back to the 80s, with a set list of New Wave classics reinterpreted by some of the hottest Gold Coast musicians around.
