Just announced: The Exhibitionist Bar at HOTA Gallery
When HOTA Gallery opens you’ll not only be able to enjoy some incredible art, but you’ll also be able to head up to the top floor for drinks and tapas at The Exhibitionist Bar.
With incredible views of the Gold Coast skyline, this new bar and dining area on level 5 of HOTA Gallery will be like nowhere else on the Coast.
David Ashford, Head of Culinary Arts at HOTA, told us a little more about what you can expect:
‘The Exhibitionist Bar, found on level 5, will deliver a spectacular rooftop experience with great views, bar style food menu served tapas, share style with a great cocktail and champagne list. This will also be the spot in the gallery to get your morning caffeine fix.’
The design for HOTA Gallery was influenced by William Robinson’s stunning painting The Rainforest and elements of inspiration have also been incorporated into the design and layout of The Exhibitionist Bar.
‘The Rainforest provided plenty of inspiration and the bar will be tied into the design of the rest of the building. As you climb the gallery tower and reach The Exhibitionist Bar the colour palette becomes lighter and greener with terrazzo tiles and a much lighter fresher décor to give the feeling that you are in the canopy of the rainforest,’ David said.
Whether you visit HOTA to enjoy the art and exhibitions, take a dip in our lake or catch a movie, we think sunset drinks at The Exhibitionist Bar will be the perfect end to a day spent well.
And while you’re waiting for the HOTA Gallery grand opening weekend on 8 and 9 May, why not check out the line-up of exhibitions you’ll be able to see plus make sure you register to hear how you can get your hands on tickets for the opening weekend.
