The HOTA Markets are one of the Gold Coast’s most vibrant community markets, held in the heart of our precinct and coordinated by Goodwill Projects. Every Sunday we come alive with in-season farm-fresh produce, delicious artisan foods, boutique fashion and handcrafted wears.

HOTA Lakeside

The warmer months are here and that means getting out and enjoy the sunshine. Take a dip, build a sandcastle and fire-up the BBQs. There’s no better way to spend holidays than lakeside.

Kids Take Over | FREE TO DROP-IN | Terrapin Theatre’s Infinite Monster

27-29 Sept, 10am-2pm

Three tents. Three participants. Two minutes to draw, scribble or scrawl your contribution to an ever-changing monster projected in real time on a gigantic tower of LCD screens.

Kids Take Over | FREE EVENT | Twinkle and the Moon

Tue 28 Sept, 11.30am

Cosy in their cubby house, Nadia and Twinkle always share a book together before nap time. Today they’re reading a book about a rocket ship! With a little help from the ‘magic nap sack’, Twinkle and Nadia use the power of imagination to blast off on an adventure full of sing-along songs, make believe and fantastical storytelling.


A Bee Story

A unique physical theatre performance for children and families, A Bee Story is a kaleidoscope of circus, acrobatics, dance, and live music. When Queen Bee and Worker Bee must work together to rebuild their hive, things never go quite to plan.


World Upside Down | HOTA Children’s Gallery
