Everybody NOW x HOTA

It’s no secret that we love to work with artists and companies that share our values and vision of Gold Coast as a place where artists are supported, new work is created, and communities are connected through art.

So we’re delighted to welcome the amazing Everybody NOW onboard as a new HOTA Home Company.

A collective of performance makers and producers who create participatory performance experiences that are celebratory and playful, Everybody NOW create works on the Gold Coast and collaborate both nationally and internationally.

Working with real people and telling real stories, they are known for their beautifully crafted and engaging work and bring a real sense of joy to everything they do.

We were proud to be the first investor in Everybody NOW’s new work in development – RINK – in 2019, providing cash and in-kind support (in conjunction with City of Gold Coast) for the initial development through our Creative Development Program. The same year, we commissioned the company to create a beautiful new work, Dance Beneath the Stars, as part of our HOME series.

As we welcome Everybody NOW as a Home Company, we’re looking forward to presenting even more high-quality participatory art and community-engaged arts experiences throughout the year.

Look out for more news on Everybody NOW soon and you can read more about them here.

HOTA proudly acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we are situated, the Kombumerri families of the Yugambeh Language Region. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging, and recognise their continuing connections to the lands, waters and their extended communities throughout South East Queensland.
