Australia’s famous kids circus is swinging into town this month.
The Flying Fruit Fly Circus is Australia’s leading physical theatre company and while circus shows are always popular, they really take things to the next level.
JUNK is an energetic, incredibly imaginative acrobatic performance with a great story. You’ll be transported back in time to when kids played in the street and let their minds run riot with whatever junk they could find.
The story, taken from memories of elderly residents in regional nursing homes about the games they played as children, will be told by 17 young performers with incredible acrobatics and circus skills. This is a really energetic, upbeat show that everyone will love.
Founded in 1979 as a holiday project for local youth in Albury-Wodonga, the Flying Fruit Fly Circus is recognised as one of the world’s leading youth arts companies. With many landmark projects to its name, and an ever-increasing alumni working in leading companies around the world, it is perhaps Australia’s most successful cultural community development project, continuing to enrich the lives of many young Australians.
JUNK swings into HOTA on Fri 29 and Sat 30 March. Grab your tickets now.
