Queensland’s COVID Vaccine Plan – Suppliers/Contractors FAQs

In line with the Queensland Government plan, from Friday 17 December all audiences and visitors to HOTA will be required to be fully vaccinated to be in our buildings or attending our activities.

These new measures are a condition of entry to HOTA, whether you are a resident or visitor to the City. It means that everybody on site will need to be fully vaccinated, unless you are medically exempt. Visitors will still be required to check in using the QLD Government app.

As HOTA implements these regulations, we appreciate your understanding and support.

What is the Queensland Government plan?

From 17 December, visitors to HOTA will be required to be fully vaccinated to attend events and be in our buildings. This also extends to our staff, artists and contractors.

What does this mean for me?

If you are 16+ on the day of your visit, you will be required to have received both doses of an approved vaccination to attend events and activities at HOTA.

Can we deliver goods without a vaccination?

If you provide a contactless service you are able to deliver goods to HOTA.

Members of my team will not be vaccinated, and we will be unable to provide supplies and services to HOTA.

Please make HOTA aware as soon as possible so that we can make alternative arrangements.

How will you check vaccination compliance?

You will need to present a vaccination certificate – either digital or hard copy – upon entering HOTA.

This includes a digital certificate in your Apple Wallet or Android Digital Wallet, a digital or printed copy of your vaccine certificate issued by Medicare. The QLD Check In app can also host your vaccine certificate and you can read how to upload it here.

It must include your unique document number and valid from date.

Is there a COVID check in procedure at HOTA?

Yes, HOTA uses the Check In QLD app, which all visitors will be required to register in. If you do not have a smart phone our team will be able to register you on arrival.
