Be taken on a next-generational musical journey by instrument designer Alon Ilsar, as he commands a holographic world with AirSticks – digital musical instruments, custom built.
The famed show – a collaboration between Alon and visual artist and programmer Matt Hughes, who digitally visualises Alon’s music live – sees shapes, colours and textures pulled out of thin air with hypnotic pulsing beats, while Alon uses his body as an invisible drum set.
Alon will conduct sound and light in an intimate space, performing the music of Comatone & Foley (Greg Seiler and Alon Ilsar) amongst Matt’s virtual world.
Previously performed with actor/performer Alan Cumming live in New York’s MET Museum and at Splendour in the Grass alongside The Thundamentals. Catch it on the Gold Coast while you can.
Trigger Happy is a vivid ride through an audio-visual wonderland, unlike anything you’ve ever seen.
