Surrounded by the depths of the rainforest and the azure glory of the reef, Leanne Tennant is an artist who pulls you across boundaries. Her songs sweep and fall, rock and flow and bring you into her world – one where you can escape that concrete, check out for a little and get lost in myriad stories of real people, real life and real experiences.
Her first album Pull Up Your Britches (2015) built her serious momentum across the country – her sophomore album Red Wine, Late Nights (2016) followed, both received Queensland Music Awards, glowing reviews for tracks Gentle Annie and Bearing the Crown – along with national and international airplay, touring, supports, festival slots and TV placements.
Now Leanne is releasing her third album after winning the prestigious Carol Lloyd Award in 2018, and sees her branch out into new directions and exploring a completely new sonic pallet.
Her new single Bring It All Back has just been released with outstanding support both Australia wide and on a Global level, which follows on from debut single Cherry Cola.
The tracks are a glimpse of what we can expect from Leanne’s new direction, and within the first 48 hours of release, both tracks gained official rotation on Double J, added to RAGE and featured as ‘Wild One’, premiered by BBC Radio, was picked up by Tom Robinson on BBC Radio 6 and play-listed on UK’s Amazing Radio after reaching #1 spot on Charlie Ashcroft’s show, received producers pick on BBC-Merseyside and most recently Bring It All Back was added to British Airways from February 2020.
