Kids Take Over Mini Music Festival | Featuring Justine Clarke

Join us on Sun 18 April for a special music festival, just for kids!

Headlined by the Australian queen of children’s entertainment Justine Clarke, the day kicks off at 9am with market stalls run by kids of the Gold Coast, and continues with live music and entertainment, and a special underground live storytelling event with Stories in the Key of GC: Kids edition.

This day is jam-packed with art and entertainment. Make your own cardboard guitar and get ready to rock out; learn to juggle; get a (temporary) tattoo; colour, draw and get crafty.

Keep an eye out – after workshopping all week, you just might see some Kids Take Over participants stealing the spotlight as our mini disruptors-in-residence, roving entertainers, mini reporters, buskers and musicians pop-up on stage or around the precinct.

Browse our market stalls run by kids (just in time for Mother’s Day, perhaps?), grab a bite to eat in the Lawn Bar or one of our food trucks, and enjoy a fun-filled family day out.

Justine will be supported by Gold Coast talent, including Lucas Proudfoot, DJ Fletcher, and MC Nadia Sunde among others.

Stay on for Stories in the Key of GC in the Basement.

Stay sun safe – don’t forget your hat and sunscreen when attending.

Presented by HOTA, Home of the Arts

Proudly supported by City of Gold Coast.
