Our mini fest for kids returns, 16-18 April
Kids Take Over is back these April school holidays letting kids unleash and take charge in a program jam-packed with music, mess and story.
Try your hand at sand sculpture; head to DJ Skool; learn to shred the guitar and perform on the Outdoor Stage; create a routine ready for busking; run away with the circus; design a playground; or just get up and dance!
With special guest workshop facilitators leading the activities, including indie-pop star Ella Fence, logo master Andrew Tuppen, DJ Fletcher aka Cold Ghost, Kids Take Over is designed to empower, inspire and entertain.
Then on Sunday 18 April, head outdoors at HOTA for a one-day only Mini Music Festival for kids, headlined by none-other than the Australian queen of children’s entertainment, Justine Clarke. Not only will you have the chance to dance in the grass under the sky, but our day will be packed with activities and performances for and by kids of the Gold Coast.
Add a dip in the lake and a stop by the Lawn Bar for something to eat under the new and colour HOTA Gallery, set to open in May – it’s your school holidays sorted.
