Coming into Fashion | Fashion Forum

The Fashion Forum will see international industry leaders and Australian custodians and creatives come together for an exciting exchange of ideas, experiences, and opinions. Some of these guests will be visiting the Gold Coast for the first time, while others are offering attendees rare opportunities for intimate and insightful conversations. Two informative morning sessions come before a networking lunch, then the day continues with a masterclass and a floor talk. As with the Talk Suite on Saturday 25 November, fashion forum attendees will have the chance to mingle and speak directly with the special guests at the end of the day as well as a free entry to the exhibition.

Since launching her label in 2005 at Australian Fashion Week in Sydney, Gail Sorronda has continued to gain both critical acclaim and a cult-like following amongst fashion lovers worldwide. Gail’s work is architectural and intelligent, but with dashes of gothic and historical influences, the result is bold and unlike anything else. Listen to a frank and intimate conversation between Gail and Alison Kubler about how Gail’s label has grown while staying so very, very niche.

The Darnell Collection: Floor talk with Charlotte Smith
