cross-currents: from island to mainland

Gold Coast Indigenous Artist Camp, South Stradbroke Island 2017

The blissful passage journey across to South Stradbroke Island can be challenging to any local boatie, particularly when there are conflicting tidal movements and cross-current winds.

This is the beginning creative process for the selected artist camp participants who were transported to the natural beauty of South Stradbroke Island where creativity, collaboration, and sharing of yarns and skills took place.
