HOTA’s FIRESIDE program continues across August and September with a stellar line-up of live events and great food , as the stars continue to shine across the HOTA lake.

We’ll be serving up the best homegrown talent with old and new friends, all in the cosiness of the Lakeside. As the artists take centre-stage we invite you to gather your friends, enjoy a glass (or two) of wine and bite to eat.

With spring just around the corner, FIRESIDE is here to chase away the winter blues.

We’ll see you by the Fireside.

We’ve got a weekend packed full of classics with Queensland Symphony Orchestra and Queensland Ballet on the Lakeside Room stage; or for those ready to rock, we’ve got the Easy Rider soundtrack performed live by The Honey Sliders, and Aussie legend Russell Morris for one night only. Enjoy pre-show drinks on the firelit terrace overlooking the Surfer’s skyline and keep the conversation flowing with supper club or high tea.

Fireside Fringe

Our Fringe program is raw, edgy and outrageously fun. Think quirky cabaret, offbeat music, and a chance to embrace your inner competitive spirit in a bout of trivia or an epic Art Battle. Best enjoyed with friends who love a laugh.

Fireside Unfiltered

With a bit of inspiration from local artists offering some unfiltered insights into different art forms, this is your opportunity to get creative and hands on with some life drawing or Storyfest’s special Write in the Moment workshop.
