Filming and Photography at HOTA

HOTA, Home of the Arts is situated in Evandale Parklands. It’s one of the best destinations for filming and photography on the Gold Coast. It’s also an incredibly busy precinct.

Evandale Parklands is a City of Gold Coast park, with HOTA responsible for a designated area.

If you’d like to film/take photos in the City managed area of Evandale Parklands then you must apply for a permit. You can apply here.

If you have a confirmed event booked at HOTA, and only want to film/take photos in the HOTA managed area, then you don’t need a permit. Make sure you let your HOTA representative know where you plan on filming.

If you do not have a confirmed event booked at HOTA, please follow the link to enquire about venue hire for your preferred filming/photography location – Click here

News outlets doing short weather or news crosses do not need a permit but should contact media@hota.com.au for approval to film onsite.
