Little ArtLab | String Stories with Libby Harward

Learn about the traditional eco-story of the Talwalpin (Cotton Tree) and Gowinka (Red Mangrove) from Quandamooka (Moreton Bay area). Make something to wear using strong and beautiful natural string.

Little ArtLab is a fun and raucous introduction to big art ideas. Every Little ArtLab involves dress ups and a musical procession through the Gallery, followed by a making activity with a leading artist.

About Libby Harward

Libby Harward is a descendant of the Ngugi people of Mulgulpin (Moreton Island) in the Quandamooka region. She has reached national acclaim for her performance-based activism and public art projects.
