Hear, Here

Pop-up Picnic Radio

By Daniele Constance, Dan Koop, and Matt Cornell

Listen from the water, listen under a tree, listen from the green bridge, a bird’s nest or as you sunbathe on your towel. Hear, Here is a pop-up picnic radio station made specifically for listening in the HOTA precinct. You’ll hear stories from local ecologists and passionate people, sharing their ideas and expertise from upstream and downstream.

With a picnic basket, map and radio in hand, join us for an adventure in our own backyard where we uncover some of the hidden stories of this landscape.

Presented by HOTA, Home of the Arts as part of WONDER

Special Live Broadcast

On Sun 11 October, join us for a special live broadcast performance of Hear, Here. Kick your shoes off, put your feet in the sand, tune in and listen from the shore of the HOTA lake, as we bring you a live radio broadcast from the middle of Evandale lake. Listen to stories told by a special guest floating on a boat, as sound waves are created from the water waves. Artist Daniele Constance will broadcast this special presentation to you live, directly to your Hear, Here radio. Tickets are strictly limited for this beautiful and unique event.
