ArtLab | Pocket Furniture with CJ Anderson

This is a kid’s guide to furniture design. Make your own tiny designer furniture, perfect for your toys to relax in! Create a centerpiece for your Barbie Dreamhouse or something spooky for your Haunted Mansion. In HOTA’s ArtLabs, your imagination is only the beginning.

About CJ Anderson

CJ Anderson is a designer focusing on furniture and objects. Manufacturing and creation played a consistent role in Anderson’s life, resulting in a natural aptitude for building and mechanics. With aspirations to push beyond the limitations of what is ‘Expected’, Anderson straddles the void between art and design.

About ArtLab

In ArtLab, kids 5-16 years can explore big ideas while working with a professional artist to create an artwork to take home. In the workshop kids will learn about different materials, practice and skills through activities responding to current exhibitions and the Gallery at HOTA collection.

ArtLab caters for older creative kids with two sessions tailored for 5-10 years (10am) and 11-16 years (1pm).
