Class Clowns

The search is on for Australia’s funniest teens!

Melbourne International Comedy Festival’s one-of-a-kind national comedy competition for young people is now open.

Class Clowns aims to inspire, engage and elevate teens aged 14-18. It’s free to enter, and all students need is a 3-5-minute original comedy act, which they get to refine and rehearse with the guidance of a professional comedian.

Once the workshops are done and dusted, the young talents will have the opportunity to perform in front of a live, paying audience! Tickets are $10 and you get the chance to support and experience the next wave of great Australian comedians before their egos inflate and they forget their roots.
