Career Opportunities

Want to join our team?

HOTA, Home of the Arts is a growing and ambitious arts precinct on the sun-filled Gold Coast. The people in our team need to be bold, ambitious and ideas driven. In return you’ll be part of the team that makes extraordinary things happen; where no two days are ever the same. To be successful you will need to be agile and responsive yet understand the impact your decisions have on artists, audiences and your colleagues. Everyday you’ll help make great art happen and you’ll reap the benefits of your ideas and commitment. If this excites you and there’s a role at HOTA that you think you’d be perfect for, we want to hear from you.

ABOUT US:

With the iconic Surfers Paradise skyline as our backdrop, HOTA is the home for live performances, lake-side strolls, cinema-watching, art and new-ideas. We’re unapologetic in our ambition to be the cultural playground of the Gold Coast.

Every year over 680,000 people come and play at HOTA. Take dip in the lake in your boardies, enjoy the latest box office hit or kick off your heels on a Friday afternoon with a Cosmo in hand. You can create memories with us, your friends and your family and we’re a place you’ll always belong.

And there’s much more to come. Behind the scenes we’re getting ready to open the largest public gallery in Australia outside a capital city. Opening in 2021, the Gallery will change how the world sees the Gold Coast with homegrown talent placed at the heart alongside blockbuster exhibitions of a scale never seen on the coast before.

OUR VISION:

To capture your imagination.

OUR PURPOSE:

To be Gold Coast’s home of Arts and Culture – a gathering place that locals love, and visitors must see and to offer inspiration, discovery and connection.

WHAT WE VALUE:

ART – We are champions of art and believe in its power to unite, challenge, transform and delight. That’s why it is at the heart of everything we do.

CITIZENSHIP – We proudly contribute to our community and take seriously our role as custodians. We are global citizens.

CURIOSITY – We are genuinely interested, constantly inventive and always learning. That’s how we innovate.
