Permanent / Contract Positions
Housekeeping Team Members
HOTA are currently looking for hard working cleaning staff to work on a casual basis in our outstanding Housekeeping team. Our Front of House staff are the face of HOTA and play a crucial role in delivering the service commitment we have made to our customers.
This is a great opportunity for individuals with the right attitude, skills and experience to come on board and help us maintain the exceptionally high standards of cleanliness the team currently achieve.
Your duties will include (but not be limited to) vacuuming (including using backpack vacuum cleaners); mopping floors and scrubbing decks (using scrubbing machine); cleaning toilets/bathrooms; cleaning windows/glass; dusting; rubbish removal and any other cleaning duties, as required.
The successful applicants will have:
• Demonstrated experience in cleaning similar large-scale venues/hotels;
• An understanding of safe chemical use and OHS in the workplace;
• Flexibility to work a variety of different shifts as required;
• Experience working effectively with minimal supervision;
• An eye for detail and take a real pride in their work;
• Their own transport;
• A current Blue Card;
• A current Police Clearance;
• Physical demands include walking and standing, climbing, bending, kneeling to clean floors by hand, push and pull objects, lift and move objects (5-10kg), repetitive bending and lifting, and repetitive arm movements.
