Just like Ryan ‘Brickman’ McNaught’s latest book, The Bricktionary: The Ultimate A-Z of LEGO®, this world premiere exhibition is built to inspire LEGO® builders’ imaginations and challenge visitors with 6 new interactive build zones.
Filled with over 150 models from the book, the exhibition also includes models from TV’s LEGO®, Masters Australia, never-seen-before creations and over 45 new models from the imaginations of the Brickman team! Bricktionary: The Interactive LEGO® brick Exhibition is a 30-90min LEGO® brick experience and is designed as a fun-filled journey for families, kids and adults to show you how to turn your LEGO brick® dreams into amazing creations.
Including brand new interactive challenges, and over 1 million LEGO® bricks, Bricktionary: The Interactive LEGO® brick Exhibition has something to spark everyone’s creativity and inspire them to build their imaginations.

What are we doing to keep you safe?
HOTA will always follow the guidance and mandates set by the Queensland Government. Make sure you’re up to date here. Whilst we will take reasonable steps to keep our audiences up to date on the current health directives, it is important that visitors to HOTA take stay updated to avoid any disappointment on arrival.
What are the Parking and Transport Options?
Parking, including wheelchair accessible parking, is available but limited. All vehicles must register upon arrival to receive up to 4 hours free parking. If you're staying with us longer than four hours, payment can be made via a parking machine onsite or via the EasyPark Mobile App. Parking is managed by City of Gold Coast (1300 322 111).
We highly recommend active travel if you leave nearby - it's a chance to enjoy the Gold Coast weather.
What can I bring with me?
Items where any one side is longer than 40cm, such as bags, backpacks, umbrellas, baby backpack carriers, tripods and monopods (selfie-sticks) are not permitted in the exhibition area. Free self-storage is available on the Lower Ground level. To view a full list of the items not permitted, click through to read the HOTA Gallery Terms and Conditions of Entry.
Do we accept companion cards?
As an affiliate of the Queensland Government’s Companion Card program, we provide Companion Card holders a second ticket for their chosen companion at no cost. Please request this from our Box Office team when you phone to book your tickets.
Is there wheelchair and pram access?
There are accessible parking spaces close to the front of HOTA Gallery, including designated setdown and pick up area in front of the main entrances.
For wheelchair users and people with mobility requirements there are ramps that provide access into all locations. Equal access toilets can be found on Level 3, 5 and the Lower Ground of HOTA Gallery.
Are food and drinks allowed?
Food and beverages are not permitted in our galleries or exhibition spaces to ensure the preservation of our important collections.
Good news is there are a number of food and beverage options at HOTA, boasting menu items inspired by the exhibition itself.
Are we able to take photographs?
Yes, absolutely! Tag @hotagc to be featured on our social platforms.
Can I turn up on the day?
Absolutely! However, we do recommend you book ahead to secure a preferred session time and to plan your visit to make the most of your HOTA day out.
